UPDATE: If google brought you here, great!  Have a look around at the rest of the blog.  If you are only interested in this subject then look at this updated article that is NOT 4 years old 🙂   https://projection-mapping.org/best-projection-mapping-software/

After answering a few questions about the subject I thought I would share a few Projection Mapping Apps (programs) to keep try:

2nd: Madmapper ($410.10)  Mac

3rd: Millumin  ($799) Mac

4th: MWM ($593.59) Mac / PC

5th: Mapio ($199) Mac / PC

6th: Facade Signage (expensive) PC

7th Dynamapper ($4.99) iPad /iOS (Not available in all countries iTunes store, email the developer if you want it)

8th: Painting With Light (free)  Mac / PC

9th: Resolume Arena ($884.80) Mac / PC

Note: Some VJ apps also have the ability to projection map.  So feel free to look into GrandVJ and VDMX on your own.
